John Hill Named Home Run Sports Coach of the Year
Softball NL Would Like To Take This Opportunity To Congratulate John Hill On Being Named The 2014 Softball Canada Home Run Sports Coach of the Year!

The Home Run Sports Coach of the Year award will be presented to John Hill from St. John’s, Newfoundland Labrador. John’s success as a coach is highlighted by the three straight Senior Men’s Canadian Fast Pitch Championships won by his team, 3Cheers Pub Bud Light, from 2012-2014 including a Silver Medal in 2011. Since 2011, the team has achieved a record of 37-2. Not only has John been a leader on the field, but he was an essential component in their fundraising efforts so the team could attend and compete at the Canadian Championships.

2012: Gold Medal (9-0 Record)
2013: Gold Medal (11-0 Record)
2014: Gold Medal (8-1 Record)
